Ardia 0.2.24: Links from other apps make it through again.

Fixed

  • Links from other apps open again. In 0.2.22 and 0.2.23, clicking a link in Discord, Slack, Mail or Messages brought Ardia forward and opened nothing, even when it wasn’t running. Links open in Little Ardia again, or as a tab of your main window with Settings › General › “Open links from other apps in Little Ardia” turned off.
  • Profile swipes stay quick, however many you do. Each switch in a quick series of swipes landed later than the one before, up to more than a second, and only recovered after a pause; a long session made every switch slower. Every switch now costs the same, in the sidebar and with tabs on top, and switching in the sidebar takes about half the work it did.
  • The toolbar hides and comes back without the page flickering. With tabs on top, each hide and show resized the page, so headlines sized to the window jumped and some animations blinked for a frame. The page now keeps its size after the first hide, and while the toolbar shows its last 21 points sit under the window’s edge.
  • The toolbar glides back in. It used to snap back in one frame. It now slides down with the page over 200 ms, mirroring the way it hides, and changing direction partway carries on from where it is.

Smaller

  • A bookmarks bar under the toolbar moves with it instead of jumping.

Now on 0.2.40

It kept going.
